Each of our employees is committed to uphold our tradition of care, quality, and passion through food, and together, we foster an environment where we can all make contributions that matter–from our manufacturing plants to our office locations and everywhere in-between.Overview of the RoleReporting to the Supervisor, Production, the Operator, Production (Feta/Fruilano) is responsible for assisting in the manufacturing and finishing/packaging of cheese in accordance with the standards and safety objectives established by Senior Management of the company.How you will make contributions that matter:

  • Complete processes which relate to Friulano/Feta/Table production
  • Operate all equipment in the Feta/Fruilano department
  • Record all required data and inventory entries with a high level of accuracy
  • Complete Sanitation duties, which include the disassembly and re-assembly of equipment for cleaning as per standard operating procedures
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures to ensure the highest quality product possible
  • Must demonstrate teamwork, co-operation, responsibility, initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ensures that safe conditions exist always within the work environment; will take appropriate action to protect the health and safety of employees and comply with all requirements as stated in the Health and Safety policy
  • Full participation in the HACCP program and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices
  • Other duties as assigned
You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:
  • Successful completion of the Plant Milk and Cheese Grading course
  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills; demonstrated analytical and organizational skills.
  • Must be self-motivated, results oriented and possess high degree of initiative, and work well with minimal supervision.
  • Must be available to work various shifts, weekends, and work overtime as required.
  • Working knowledge of computers, high school diploma preferred (but not required).
  • Proficiency and dependability in current position.
