Job Description

BBRD – Blue Bin Recycling & Disposal requires a Full-Time Labourer for our Recycling Facility located in Telkwa, BC. This is a fast paced environment with the expectation of high productivity. Opportunity to begin immediately.Responsibilities

  • Assist Facility Operator with day-to-day tasks: feeding baler with recycling material. Remove full bales from baler. Any other tasks as directed by Operator.
  • Follow safety regulation, company policies, and guidelines
  • Fill out the daily forklift checklist before operating the forklift.
  • Move the finished product to the storage area.
  • Maintain a clean work area at all times
  • Follow plant lock-out procedure during servicing or repair
  • Able to lift 50lbs. and work on your feet throughout the day.
Skills
  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience
  • Read, write, and speak English
  • Forklift experience or License is an asset, but not a requirement
  • Manufacturing, warehouse or production experience
