• The Role of the Pool/Beach Attendant is to assist in providing an exceptional experience to Ocean Club guests, through positive interaction, anticipation of needs, and overall quality service.
• They are also required to m eet and greet guests utilizing the outdoor amenities.
• Escort them to vacant pool or beach chairs and assist them as requested.
• Perform daily opening, operating, and closing duties for the area as required.
• This p osition involves working continuously in an outdoor environment.

Responsibilities:Performs daily opening, operating, and closing duties according to the guidelines set by the department.These duties include, but are not limited to:

• Cleaning of the entire pool deck or beach area, and surrounding areas and landscaping, of all trash and debris. All items to be disposed of at the proper designated locations.
• Set-up and break down pool and beach lounge chairs. Chairs are to be organized in a preset linear fashion unless otherwise necessary or instructed by the management team.
• Cleans all chairs and tables prior to guest arrival and throughout the day as needed to properly maintain the quality of the area.
• Meets and greets all guests as they arrive and escorts them to vacant lounge chairs.
• Sets up towels, Bimini tops, ashtrays, tables, or other service items that guests may request.
• Interacts with and assist guests throughout the shift to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Coordinates with all necessary departments to provide superior guest service and to fulfill guest requests.
• Places towel bins in designated areas. Collects used towels from the pool deck or beach area and other outdoor areas, and places in designated bins.
• Collects all towel bins from the outdoor areas and returns them to the Laundry holding area(s) as required.
• All items left by the resort guests on the pool deck or beach areas should be turned into Lost & Found immediately.
