Job Description

We are currently searching for a qualified individual to fill our Administrative Assistant II position in Thompson, Manitoba.The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Greet clients and visitors to ensure optimum customer service and display a great first impression of the dealership
  • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with our clients to exceed customer expectations and build loyalties.
  • Answering and directing a high volume of calls through a multi-line switchboard and ensuring messages are delivered to the respective parties while using a courteous and professional phone manner
  • Coordinate the daily traffic from our other locations in Dauphin, Flin Flon, and The Pas
  • Provide detailed administrative support and perform various clerical tasks which include, but are not limited to, filing, collections for accounts receivable and accounts payable postings.
  • Reconcile cash daily
  • Showroom management, including our guests, required supplies, cleanliness, and reporting maintenance issues
  • Processing payments from our customers and all of our departments including payments from our other locations
  • Work with U-Drive rentals. Making reservations over the phone, completing customer contracts and making sure vehicles are ready for customers in various weather conditions.

  • Strong multi-tasking abilities, organization, and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills on the phone, written and verbal
  • Strong computer skills
  • Professional work ethic
  • Positive energy and eagerness to provide excellent customer service on the phone and in-person
  • Professional dress and manner
  • Previous experience in an administrative position
  • Willingness to learn the business and grow in the company
  • Detail-oriented
  • General knowledge of excel, word Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace
  • A valid Manitoba Driver’s License
  • Dealership experience is an asset
