The Audiologist, a member of Rehabilitative Services, is responsible for all aspects of the Audiology program andservices. Emphasizes early identification of hearing loss, prevention of hearing loss, hearing health promotion andrehabilitation in an attempt to minimize the negative impact of hearing loss. Plays an important role in enhancing andmaintaining information sharing and collaboration between community-based, school-based and hospital services. Themajor focus of the position will be the assessment and treatment of children while also working with all age groups.Provides clinical supervision to the Audiology Assistant and the Newborn Hearing Screeners.The incumbent must fulfill the requirements of the Criminal Records/Vulnerable Person, Child Abuse Registry Check, andAdult Abuse Registry Check and adhere to all Northern Health Region (NHR) policies and procedures.QUALIFICATIONS
