Job Description

We value and respect our employees - their experience and expertise as well as their energy, passion and diversity - and their innovative approach to work and to life.The EXP Mining, Thompson office is currently seeking a Electrical & Automation EIT to join our fast-paced and rapidly expanding Mining group in Thompson.The Electrical & Automation EIT will work under the supervision of the senior engineers and project managers on surface and underground m ining projects. The EIT will also be required to undertake site visits to review construction work and prepare construction review reports.Your Responsibilities:

  • Knowledgeable in the design of Mining systems
  • Possess MS Office skills.
  • Strong people skills, and ability to work with a wide variety of staff
  • Mining, construction field experience is preferred
  • Any experience in the engineering, consulting or mining industry is preferred
Skills & Knowledge You Bring:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
  • EIT registration with APEGM
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Good interpersonal skills that focus on meeting customer requirements;
  • Valid Drivers License
