Job Description

Oversees programs, processes and staff within Supply Chain Management to ensure adherence to approvedcost, quality and delivery standards within the Northern Health Region (NHR).The incumbent must fulfill the requirements of the Criminal Records/ Vulnerable Person, Child Abuse RegistryCheck and Adult Abuse Registry Check, and adhere to all Northern Health Region (NHR) policies andprocedures.QUALIFICATIONS

  • Post-Secondary Education in Business/Management (combination of education and experience may be
considered)
  • Completion or enrolment in recognized Supply Chain Management Designation Program (Proof of
‘Member in good standing’) is an asset
  • Valid Class V Manitoba Driver’s License
  • Four (4) years comprehensive experience in Supply Chain roles
  • Two (2) years’ supervisory/management experience in a unionized environment
  • Thorough knowledge of Windows based programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Great Pains an asset
  • Knowledge and understanding of the geographical characteristics/challenges of transportation links in
the North
  • Successful candidate subject to provide security checks in accordance with Security Checks for
