Job Title: Spider OperatorCompany: Axis Mountain TechnicalLocation: VariousJob Summary Axis Mountain Technical Inc. is a specialty light civil contractor specializing in geo stabilization, steep slope excavation, and mountain construction. We are seeking Spider Operators to join our team for the 2023 construction season. Axis performs work all over Western Canada, and every job is different from the last. The Spider Operator trainee will undergo an initial training period (typically a few weeks) to ensure competent knowledge of spider functions and operations. After training graduation, an operator will be qualified to work in the field under supervision. The in-field training process will continue until the operator has been deemed competent in all the different processes that the Spider can perform. This job is labor-intensive and will demand the utmost attentiveness in safety, a strong drive for success, and the willingness to operate in a team setting.
