If you are hard-working, eager to learn, and think youre up for the challenge of working for a leading manufacturing facility, you should consider applying.Wage range: $18-$22hr + $1.25hr shift premiumShift: Monday-Thursday 10hr shifts 3PM-1:15AMThe CNC Operator is responsible for the operation of CNC machines and general labour tasks. The ideal candidate will have some experience with machining including operation of CNC milling and lathe equipment as well as experience with Microsoft office.Duties & Responsibilities: Operation of various CNC mills and lathes· FANUC-HAAS/Heidenhain/SIEMENS controllers· Basic understanding of engineering drawings, blueprints· Machine parts to tight tolerances and verify dimensions of parts using precision measuring instruments· Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances and complete inspection records as required· Maintain direct work area and CNC machine for cleanliness· Assist with 5S and organizational initiatives· Assist with creation of work instructions for repeat jobs· Maintain fixture rack organization (labeling, updating fixture spreadsheet)· Preparing tooling and fixturing for upcoming jobs· Deburring machined parts for various jobs· Attend employee meetings and safety talks as required· Perform other tasks as requiredRequirements· Some experience in CNC machining environment· Ability to perform physical labour· Willingness to learn new skills and desire to accommodate requests· Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)· Crane experience considered an asset· Basic understanding of the ISO 9001 quality management system· Basic understanding of OH&S Legislation and Health & Safety best practices· Available to work overtime as business demand requires· Have excellent organizational / time management skills; attention to detail· Possess basic computer skills· Microsoft Office experience would be an assetNote: Only applicants with experience as outlined in the responsibilities & essential functions need apply.How to apply: Please only forward resumes, No telephone calls please.
