Apply today to speak with our recruiter!Your Role and ResponsibilitiesJob Purpose:The Marketing/Communications Specialist at Marwood plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing comprehensive marketing and communications strategies. With a focus on maintaining brand integrity and delivering cohesive messaging, this position collaborates across departments to drive various marketing initiatives, ensuring timely and budget-conscious project completion.Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to Marwood #39;s team and executive staff.
  • Promote brand initiatives aligned with corporate goals.
  • Coordinate marketing and communications initiatives to ensure consistency.
  • Lead graphic design, videography, and animation projects.
  • Develop website updates and projects in WordPress and other software.
  • Manage social media channels and execute Google and Meta advertising campaigns.
  • Conduct market research and provide insights for new marketing initiatives.
  • Create and optimize trainings for HR and Health and safety initiatives.
  • Develop templates in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all products and services.
  • Communicate and negotiate with promotional partners.
  • Monitor competitor activities and make strategic recommendations.
  • Analyze potential new products/media for marketing opportunities.
  • Coordinate publicity for special events and provide departmental support.
  • Occasional travel may be required between Tillsonburg, Ingersoll, and Woodstock.
  • Ability to attend and conduct presentations
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Key Requirements:
  • University/College degree in marketing, advertising, business administration, communications, or journalism, or equivalent.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in graphic design software, web design, and marketing-related tools.
  • Experience with e-mail marketing, internet marketing, and direct marketing programs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel VBA, Adobe Suite, WordPress, and related computer programs.
  • Exceptional command of English language, including grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Ability to absorb new ideas quickly and communicate them effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
  • Commitment to privacy and high ethical standards.
