Job Description

Looking for a rewarding production/manufacturing role We may have one here in our Tillsonburg and Otterville locationsAgilus is recruiting for a Production Welder in the Manufacturing Field in Tillsonburg, Ontario. Production Welders would be working between the two locations in Tillsonburg and Otterville. Shift options are either: Days/Afternoons every 2 weeks, or straight Midnight shifts. Responsibilities:

  • Produce quality Parts, review parts produced for quality specs and defective parts. Work in a safe manner, performing tasks that support production
  • Comply with all safety procedures as required by the Healthamp; Safety Act and/or Company practices or procedures including but not limited to the wearing of all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as specified by the Act or designated by the Company. Participate and complete all Health and Safety training or any other training mandated by the Company.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with timelines and quota objectives
  • Operate Robot Weld Cell
  • Report any inventory problems
  • Housekeeping including but not limited to cleaning, sweeping painting mopping.
  • Complete all relevant and required documentation prior to shift ending.
  • Other duties as assigned by the management team.
Requirements:
  • Must have access to reliable transportation
  • Ability to bend/stretch/reach with varying shaped parts and varying weight.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50lbs)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment performing repetitive tasks
  • Ability to retain information and communicate effectively
Total compensation:
  • $18.00/hour
  • Full-time hours with multiple shift options
  • Shift premiums for afternoon and midnight shifts
  • Time and a half after 40 hours
  • Double time on Sundays
  • Lots of Overtime available!
