Job Description

Subsidiary: Miller Paving LimitedLocation: Timmins, ONAs a Concrete Driver, You Will:

  • Operate a Ready-mix truck in a safe and efficient manner
  • Deliver products to customers on a timely basis
  • Maintain a clean and mechanically sound truck
  • Maintain accurate documentation
  • Perform site labour and equipment operation, as required
  • Other duties as assigned
What Youll Bring:
  • Experience driving a ready-mix concrete truck, will be considered an asset
  • A Valid DZ driver’s license with a clean Driver’s abstract and CVOR, required
  • Comfortable working outdoors, in extreme weather conditions, and in a noisy and dusty environment
  • Mechanical knowledge and experience with general equipment maintenance, considered an asset
  • Ability to perform manual labour and lift up to 50 lbs/22.7 kg
  • Ability to sit, stand or drive more than 90 minutes per day
  • Effective communication (written and verbal)
  • OSSD or equivalent diploma
  • Knowledge of the Highway Traffic Act and municipality by-laws
  • Willingness to travel to other work sites, required
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Effective team player
