Job Description

Overview:Come work for a company that strives to be the Best Tire Dealer in Canada! We are looking for people who have the passion for automotives and want to work in a technology advancing industry. Fountain Tire Timmins is looking for that ideal candidate to come work for them as a Full Time Mining/OTR Tire Technician.Your duties will include:

  • Installing a variety of Commercial and OTR tires
  • Using computer diagnostics to balance tires
  • Rotating Tires to ensure proper wear
  • Repairing tires in a safe and efficient manner
  • Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
  • Maintaining tire service equipment
  • Operating company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner
  • Understanding and adhering to safe operation of all equipment
What we are looking for:
  • Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract from province of residence.
  • Provide customer-service
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work in a safe and fast paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds
What would be a plus:
  • One year of tire-related experience working with Commercial or OTR tires
  • Mechanical Understanding
  • To be a team player
