ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Hardware Manager, responsibilities for this position include the following:1. Provide information, assistance and customer service in a manner that will promote the sale of merchandise in a friendly and courteous way2. Become familiar with all hardware merchandise and maintain a high level of product knowledge3. Assist with performing FCL claims and special orders4. Assembly of lawn tractors, lawn mowers, tillers and other merchandise5. Receive and stock merchandise, including setting up displays and ensuring all products are properly labelled and priced. This includes helping unload hardware stock from FCL trucks.6. Perform key cutting and paint mixing tasks7. Order hardware merchandise and call customers when special orders are received8. Organize stock and merchandise in upstairs storage. Ability to move stock from storage to sales floor on a consistent basis9. General housekeeping dutiesRequirements
