Job Description

AGI Westeel has an opening for a Metal Fabrication Production Worker to join our dedicated and supportive production team.A leading supplier of the highest quality fuel storage products, AGI Westeel Tisdale provides a safe, reliable and fast-paced work environment. This is a full-time position which requires:

  • Proven ability to work safely in an industrial setting
  • Prior experience in cutting metal
  • An understanding of blueprints, specifications, measuring techniques and drawings
  • The use of breaks, saws, shears, iron workers, and pipe benders accurately and independently
  • Ability to recognize and differentiate various metals used during fabrication
  • Forklift operation
  • Monitoring steel inventory to ensure minimum supply is always available
  • Evaluation of regular maintenance for cutting equipment
  • Operating machinery in the preventative maintenance program
  • Effective oral and written communication
  • Exemplary attendance record
