JOB TITLE: Parts TechnicianPOSITION TYPE: Permanent – Full TimeBRANCH: Tisdale, SKREPORTING TO: Parts Sales ManagerThe Canadian agriculture industry is growing, and you could be part of the momentum with Rocky Mountain Equipment (RME). The largest independent dealer of Case IH and Case Construction equipment in Canada, RME consists of 36 construction and agricultural equipment branches across Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Our commitment of doing Right by You empowers us to provide a consistent, reliable and safe experience to all our customers and build long-lasting relationships with the greater community.As a Parts Technician, you are the first point of contact for customers looking to order parts from RME. Your excellent communication and sales skills and ability to stay organized ensure customers get what they need to run their operation—youre their go-to person for getting the right solution at the right time. Your opportunity for growth and advancement is made more accessible with ongoing technical training. If you’re interested in becoming an apprentice, RME supports and encourages Parts Technician apprenticeships. Gain even more experience to go further and get your journeyperson papers and expand your potential.Job Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Sell and order parts for customers including pricing, locating, and receiving parts
  • Read and interpret parts diagnostics and diagrams
  • Use computerized inventory system and parts libraries
  • Merchandise parts department sales area
  • Adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety Standards—RME is committed to the protection and wellness of its employees
Job Requirements and Qualifications Include:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer service experience
  • Highly organized with attention to detail
  • Experience with computerized inventory system
  • Knowledge or experience with agriculture or construction equipment
  • Journeyman or senior apprentice preferred
