Job Description

Your Opportunity:Tofield is a town in central Alberta, Canada. It is located approximately 68 km east of Edmonton at the junction of Highway 14, Highway 834, and Highway 626. Beaverhill Lake is located immediately northeast of the community. Tofield Health Centre is a rural facility that houses 16 medical beds, 50 Continuing Care beds and an active Emergency Department. This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the facility including the Site/Acute Care Manager. The successful candidate is expected to ensure the effective and efficient management of a wide scope of responsibilities and activities on behalf of the Managers and are the facility resource for all departments.Description:As an Administrative Support IV, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in business administration, medical office assistant), or other related fields.Additional Required Qualifications:The successful applicant must be familiar with and extremely skilled with the use of computers. Experience with the following is required: Microsoft Office Suite with an advanced knowledge of Outlook/ Calendar, e-People including experience with Manager Services (timekeeping and RMS), delegate home, labour reporting, iProcurement, iExpense, Iron Mountain, Grand & Toy ordering, IT requests (IT Service Hub, IAM, IT Access request forms), MS TEAMS, ARI - Insights & Financial Services, Adobe PDF, Data Group, BMO Spend dynamics, and employee recognition via lnsite. Highly developed communication skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving skills are essential to this position. The successful candidate must also have previous experience and knowledge of functional cost center strings, timekeeping codes, collective agreements, and assisting with the process of hiring. The successful candidate must also have the ability to work independently and with frequent interruptions.Preferred Qualifications:Previous experience with the following: arranging and scheduling interviews for job postings, requesting accesses and software for new employees, data entry, the use of telephones, submitting orders and managing inventory, managing and processing invoices, couriering documents, maintaining and managing electronic filing, managing various Outlook calendars, and completing/submitting forms electronically.
