Deli Worker - Jobs in Tofield, AB

Tofield IGA is a locally owned store and is part of the Sobeys group of stores. We are looking for someone who can work without a lot of supervision and can work as a team member. Must be responsible, reliable, mature and be able to work in a fast paced environment.Pay will be based on experience and could lead to more hours in the future if needed.
Greets customers in a polite and friendly manner
Hot and cold food preparation, including sandwiches, chickens, salads, soups and specialty trays
Use of commercial power equipment, including slicers, knives and ovens
Taking orders from customers
Rotation of product
Filling product showcases
Capable of lifting, bending, twisting, standing, walking, pushing, pulling
Follow food safe, sanitation and temperature rules
Must be responsible, reliable, mature and be able to work in a team environment or on your own. Pay will be based on experience. 2 years of retail experience in grocery is preferred but people with other experience will be reviewed also. Only candidates that will be interviewed will be contacted.
