Contracting Field Operator - Jobs in Tomahawk, AB

Job Description

Our company is an oil&gas upstream company seeking operators to join and operate our properties in Tomahawk, AB. This position requires a self-motivated profession to accomplish day to day field operations and assigned tasks by the head office.Key Responsibility include, but not limited to:

• Understand and follow company policies and HSE requirements
• Operate wells, pipelines, and battery facilities and a sweet gas plant
• Optimize field operation procedures and prepare daily and monthly data documentation and reporting including production reports, pigging records, inspection reports etc.
• Provide expertise in safety monitoring, cost control and effectiveness.
• Conduct work in compliance with company and AER regulations to avoid risky operations.
• Incident Reporting
• Troubleshoot field issues and communicate with management team for resolutions in time.

Qualifications:

• 5 years’ + experience in oilfield operations and gas plant
• Safety certifications i.e. H2S, First Aid
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Familiar with Computer skills and Microsoft Suite
• Have some work experience in oil&gas production engineering

Job Type: PermanentSalary: From $6,500.00 per monthFlexible Language Requirement:

• Tomahawk, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• oil and gas: 5 years (preferred)
