If this type of culture excites you, we want to hear from you!The RoleReporting to the Engineering Manager for a Virtual Care Product, your role as a Lead DevOps Engineer is critical to our success to meet goals in driving the development and implementation of our DevOps strategy, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our software deployment processes, and having a handle on the AWS infrastructure required to make it all run. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, automate processes, and enhance our systems #39; overall efficiency and reliability.What you #39;ll do:

  • Lead and manage a team of DevOps engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
  • Be responsible for the existing DevOps strategy, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and infrastructure automation and provide a sense of ownership.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and quality assurance teams to define and implement best practices for software development, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Apply critical thinking skills to ask questions and dig into the root cause of an issue or an assignment.
  • Design and implement scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions, leveraging cloud technologies and containerization.
  • Automate deployment processes, including configuration management, infrastructure provisioning, and application deployment.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and scalability of applications and services.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Conduct regular code reviews and provide feedback to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
What you bring:
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 5 - 7 years of experience in a DevOps role, with some experience in a leadership position.
  • Strong knowledge of DevOps principles, practices, and tools.
  • Deep experience with AWS and its resources.
  • Experience with Terraform and Terragrunt and their ability to apply resources into AWS.
  • Proficiency in a scripting language.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
  • Deep experience with Kubernetes, configuring the cluster, managing it, and maintaining it.
  • Experience with Helm and deployment of services to a Kubernetes cluster.
  • Experience Creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to configure and maintain a cloud API gateways.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Nice to have experience:
  • AWS Resources like: VPC, Certificate Manager, Cloudfront, Cloudwatch, RDS, EC2, EKS, Redis, IAM, Route53, S3
  • Programing knowledge in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • CI/CD pipeline knowledge in Github Actions, CircleCI, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins
  • Usage of tools like: Kong, NGINX, Hashicorp Vault
  • Observability tools: HoneyComb, Sentry, Grafana
  • Event Based Architecture knowledge with Kafka.
  • Cloud networking best practices
  • Practical experience in the GitOps pattern
