Make a difference every day!Your role:The Regional Vice President, Senior Consultant will build long-standing positive relationships with clients that enhance long-term holdings of Invesco products and solutions. Serving as the face of Invesco to clients, you will be an integral part of furthering the client journey. You will engage clients as a consultant, contributing both as an investment partner and a business building and practice management advisor. Territory coverage is downtown Toronto.You will be responsible for:

  • Develop differentiated client relationships, including growing existing client relationships and developing new profitable relationships to reach maximum market share with the advisor community including family offices and private investment counsels.
  • Approach client interactions as a consultant, starting with client needs and optimally using internal resources to meet those needs.
  • Deliver insight-based education, business/practice management expertise, coaching, and portfolio construction consultations.
  • Perform portfolio construction and manager selection consultations to clients with varying technical expertise.
  • Deliver a combination of organic sales growth, asset retention, and client dedication scores within assigned territory
  • In conjunction with regional team and sales leadership, develop the annual sales plan, strategies, and actions to meet or exceed sales objectives.
  • Represent Invesco at industry and key client events to further position Invesco as a best-in-class provider of enduring solutions.
The experience you bring:
  • 5+ years of asset management sales success targeting financial advisors, family offices, and private investment counsels.
  • An Undergraduate degree and/or equivalent work experience is required
  • Completion of the CSC is required and progress toward a CFP, RFP is preferred.
  • Additional professional designations (CIM, CFA, etc.); an asset.
  • A growth mindset with a business-owner mentality.
  • Consultative, client first approach, delivering solutions, not products, to meet client needs and get results.
  • Excellent listening skills with a natural inclination to focus on customer needs coupled with strong presentation and communication skills.
  • A digital and data-driven mentality with a consistent record of developing and executing on a strategic business plan, including the adoption of technologies that improve efficiency and lead to an enhanced client experience.
  • Technical investment expertise including outstanding knowledge of mutual funds, ETFs, SMAs and their competitive landscape and in-depth understanding of Capital Markets and the impact of economic factors.
