Brookfield is committed to the development of our people through challenging work assignments and exposure to diverse businesses.Technology Services (TS) is responsible for delivering all enterprise infrastructure, applications and related end user technology services across all Brookfield business groups, comprised of approximately 5,000 users.IntroductionYou will support the Release Management lifecycle which includes scheduling, coordinating and the management of releases across the End User Computing Team. Releases can be inclusive of application updates, operating system patches, security improvements, hardware upgrades, Projects and Programs. You will be responsible for implementing and managing release processes for code through development, test, and production environments. The Release Manager Job function works collaboratively with all participants Technology projects.This position will also support the delivery of software through our system through Brookfield #39;s Software Deployment Management ToolsetThis role also provides third level support to Service Desk and Deskside support teams to ensure timely and accurate support for unresolved end-user escalations.What You Will Do:

  • Patch and vulnerability management execution of endpoints
  • Provide third level support to Service Desk and Deskside service desk staff for complex end-user escalations not resolved through standard support channels, which may include out of hours support activities
  • Deliver an optimized productivity platform and exceptional digital experience
  • Protect the desktop environment by evaluating and determining how to react to security alerts, vulnerabilities, and industry risks
  • Develops scripts and automation tools used to build, integrate, and deploy software releases to various platforms
  • Continuously see improvement and develop our EUT services to provide efficiencies and document configurations, knowledgebase articles and processes
  • Forward Plan the release windows and cycles across a portfolio
  • Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality
  • Measure and monitor progress to ensure releases are delivered on time and within budget, and that they meet or exceed expectations
  • Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changes
  • Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations
  • Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews
  • Produce Deployment, Run Books and Implementation Plans
  • Weekly Release Reporting
  • Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required
  • Negotiate, plan and manage all release activities
  • Maintains the release schedule for all core services and ensure alignment across key partners and vendors.
  • Continually work towards making improvements in the release process
  • Participate in CAB meetings to discuss release scope and/or roadblocks
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in Computer Science and / or related business experience
  • 2-6 years of previous release and/or project management experience, (Solid understanding of project management principles preferred)
  • 8-10 years of experience in information systems operations environment in systems analysis or development
  • Formal training in project management practices preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
  • Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills are a must
  • Working Knowledge in Autopilot, Co-management, Conditional Access, device policies, MAM for IOS and Android), in depth understanding in Azure Active Directory and Office 365, Security (LAPS, Bitlocker, Windows Hello for Business, Certificate 802.1X)
  • Microsoft Endpoint Management - Responsible for device management, maintaining the Intune/Autopilot environment OSD creation/maintenance, application packaging/deployment, Windows patching, hardware specs, etc.
  • Minimum 3-5 years #39; experience with PowerShell scripting and automation
  • Excellent customer service, high levels of communication and the ability to manage problems through to completion
  • Understanding of LAN, WANamp; voice network environments, routing protocols, various technology architectures including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, LAN, WAN, Wireless, VPN
  • Extensive hands on support experience of supporting Windows 10 and the O365 Office suite of programs
  • Experience managing and supporting operating systems, use of network protocols, testing hardware and scripts, resolving platform issues, project management, troubleshooting and deployment / configuration of management systems.
Nice to Have:
  • Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Endpoint Manager to configure and facilitate application deployments and patching.
