Our team members have what they need to make a meaningful impact and are truly valued for who they are and what they contribute.To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.comWhat you #39;ll be doingAs the Senior Director, People Leader Academy, you #39;ll be a comprehensive leader responsible for delivering an integrated roadmap of high-impact learning solutions targeted towards upskilling People Leaders across our organization, recognizing the various tenures, accountabilities and job levels within our people leader composition. You #39;ll develop curriculum, designs learning content and facilitates delivery through blended digital, virtual and in-person vehicles. You #39;ll liaise with other teams to ensure core concepts are nested within our CIBC Leadership framework and future-focused skills, adaptively providing new solutions to achieve results, partnering with teams in other functional areas (e.g. Communications, HR/ER, Workforce Transformationamp; Leadership, etc.) to drive leader-focused initiatives that ensure CIBC is future-proofing leaders and unlocking our full potential across our full leadership bench.You will manage financial and people resources across all areas of influence, acting as a business lead to execute long-term business strategies and plans that enable the business to deliver on its mandate, goals and objectives. You will establish and maintain internal stakeholder and executive management relationships to effectively influence strategic priorities, facilitate decision making and enhance operational effectiveness. You will lead in the development of innovative methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to achieve broad objectives.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role.   • Innovative thought leadership - Stay up to date with skills, trends and changes related to leadership development and adult learning, and translate how they apply to CIBC. Create compelling narratives and recommendations for developing leaders at all levels so they can lead themselves, our teams and our business, in order to deliver on CIBC #39;s purpose and achieve our bank #39;s strategic goals.
  • Consulting - Consult with internal and external stakeholders to identify leader proficiency and gaps, and gather requirements for designing, implementing and measuring solutions that grow targeted strategic capabilities.
  • Advice - Leverage research and consulting insights to determine the appropriate tool, solution and methodology (e.g., curated solution, e-learning, multimedia, virtual workshop, Masterclass, knowledge object, blended solution, etc.). Provide targeted job-ready learning recommendations.
  • Presentation - Effectively present your recommendations to a variety of audiences, including senior executives. Present content by creating detailed design plans, instructional strategies, objectives, research results, measurement plans, etc. Create clear recommendations including content highlights, key concepts, multimedia ideas and prototypes.
  • Design, writing and outcome measurement - Design strategic development experiences and solutions that are innovative, consumable and effectively build the capability of leaders at different levels within CIBC. Apply business acumen and innovative solutions to sustain, measure and increase the impact of solutions.
