Job Description

What makes this role important at IpsosThe Web Designer is an integral member of Ipsos #39; Marketingamp; Communications team in North America. You #39;ll get a chance to work with a creative team of writers, designers, strategists and media specialists focused on amplifying Ipsos #39; reach and brand reputation. This is a diverse role ideal for an experienced web developer and designer who is agile and comfortable in a low-structure, innovative environment.What you can expect to be doing:

  • Contribute to maintaining content on Ipsos #39; US and Canadian externalamp; internal web properties (ipsos.com/en-us, ipsos.com/en-ca, ipsos.com/fr-ca, future.ipsos.com, and others)
  • Apply Ipsos #39; visual identity guidelines to all creative including Newsletters, Email Templates, Infographics/data vis, Videos (and more), as well as advocate to internal stakeholders on how to represent the company asquot;One Ipsos quot;
  • Input to digital marketing assets for Ipsos #39; web properties, email marketing strategies, social media channels, presentationsamp; conferences, and more
  • Design assets for and contribute to corporate handle social media strategies
  • Analyze web traffic data, optimizing opportunities for traffic via search engines and integration with social, and report
  • Work with team to produce summaries of progress against traffic growth targets in the form of data reports and infographics
  • Advise internal stakeholders on best practices in the area of marketing, personalamp; corporate branding, social media, user experience, and more
This might be the job for you if you have:
  • 4 - 5 years #39; experience and relevant educational degree/certificate
  • Strong organizational skills to execute projects from conception to launch, independently and in collaboration with other team members
  • Strong communication skills to share expertise within the team and to internal stakeholders
  • Careful attention to detail as well as flexibility to adapt to changing business needs
  • Experience with:
  • Drupal CMS, SharePoint, and WordPress (including custom WordPress theme development)
  • Front-end coding such using HTML and CSS
  • Google Analytics 4 and SEO best practices
  • Responsive web design
  • Producing HTML and Outlook email templates
  • UX best practices when designing for desktop and mobile web experiences
  • Information architecture
  • Building and tracking appropriate metrics for success and growth of website and online presence
  • Adobe Suite Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign
  • Familiarity with:
  • JavaScript
  • Video editingamp; motion design experience
  • Marketo or related platforms
  • Hootsuite or similar social media platforms
  • Ceros or similar platforms
  • WCAG 2.0 web accessibility standards
Not required but an asset:
  • Experience with visual design, such as composition and typography
  • Experience working within global or multi-country companies
