Now, we are expanding our global team and looking for talented individuals like you!Accounts Receivable ManagerPosition Purpose: Oversees IPG #39;s Accounts Receivable function, including Credit Management, Collections and Cash Application functions; Spearhead Process Improvement, Lead Automation Efforts and Systems Implementations; Drive Productivity Improvement and Monitor Internal Compliance.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee AR function in accordance with company policies and accepted accounting practices; includes responsibility for Credit Analysis, Collections, Cash Application, Customer Claims and Deduction Management, SOX and Internal Controls compliance.
  • Measure department performance with appropriate metrics such as Collections Effectiveness Index, % Current, Cash Application Success Rate, and Bad Debt Write-offs as a % of Sales.
  • Investigate and resolve customer disputes and queries.
  • Manage relations with Credit Reporting Agencies and Credit Insurance Providers; Monitor credit worthiness and credit limits for customers and bring any action items to the attention of management on time.
  • Collaborate extensively with Sales and Customer Service Departments to ensure customer payments are collected efficiently and within agreed-upon terms.
  • Maintain a continuous improvement environment by setting performance goals, monitor progress and take corrective action when required.
  • Collaborate continuously with Treasury, Automation vendors and IT to establish/maintain a long-range technology plan, support evaluations and recommendations of new technologies to improve efficiency, cost effectiveness, customer service and quality of work.
  • Keep informed of industry and regulatory environment and prepare Shared Service Center to respond efficiently and effectively to anticipated and unanticipated changes.
  • Provide support for internal and external audits; Enforce company policies and procedures; Establish an effective internal control environment and monitor control compliance.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in accounting, finance, business or related fields.
  • CPA or master #39;s degree in business or finance is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years #39; experience as AR Manager.
  • Strong Hands-on accounting experience with ability to interpret financial statements and reports.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent organizational and communication skills (English and French)
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills including working with large data sets and pivot tables, proficiency in PowerPoint and Word, and familiarity with general ledger, financial reporting systems, and online banking systems.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret information and translate requirements into implementation efforts.
  • Ability to identify and implement best practices.
  • Familiarity with US Escheatment laws.
