Administrative Assistant - Switchboardamp; Mailroom SupportSupport daily operations in a professional environment through mailroom, facilities, reception, and print services. Ideal for candidates with strong organizational skills, customer service experience, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.What is in it for you:• Hourly salary of $22.• 12-month contract.• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.• Monday to Friday, between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm (varied start times).• On-site work in a dynamic environment.• Business casual dress code in a professional setting.• Join a passionate and inclusive team of professionals.Responsibilities:• Monitor and answer inbound phone lines; direct calls as needed.• Greet external meeting guests at reception and notify meeting hosts of arrivals.• Respond to employee service requests and follow through using appropriate systems.• Set up meeting and training rooms as requested by the client.• Follow up on facilities service tickets to completion.• Prepare and process outgoing mail and packages using various shipping services.• Receive, sort, and process incoming mail, documents, and packages.• Record and maintain logs for accountable mail and shipments.• Perform charge-back reporting and mail labeling/mail merge tasks.• Conduct electronic mail distribution, including scanning and preparation.• Assemble, package, and kit materials for fulfillment requests.• Adhere to all mailroom security protocols and delivery schedules.• Perform quality checks and troubleshoot mail issues as needed.• Monitor and replenish supply inventories.• Operate high-volume mail and insertion equipment.• Support basic printing and finishing functions using colour production printers.• Perform basic bindery and finishing tasks for printed materials.What you will need to succeed:• High School diploma or equivalent.• 1 to 2 years of experience in a professional, client-facing work environment.• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.• Able to stand and be on feet for up to 80% of the time.• Strong communication and customer service skills in English, both written and verbal.• Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.• Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Teams.• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.• Willingness and ability to learn new tasks and processes.• Ability to operate high-volume mail and finishing equipment.Why Recruit ActionRecruit Action (agency permit: AP-2504511) provides recruitment services through quality support and a personalized approach to job seekers and businesses.
