Job Description

This is a remote position.Location: Canada (Flexible/Hybrid with National Travel)Type: Full-TimeStart Date: Early Hire – Join Us as We BuildAbout UsWe are a growing, well funded healthcare organization dedicated to serving veterans, first responders, RCMP, and other covered communities through physical and mental health assessments and treatment. While we are currently in early stage development, our long-term vision is to build a national network of multidisciplinary clinics, providing a fully integrated service offering that addresses the majority of our patient’s needs. This will include additional services such asphysiotherapy, chiropractic care, occupational therapy, diagnostics, and emerging treatments such as ketamine therapy.The RoleWe’re looking for an experienced Head of Operations to lead and scale our clinic operations across Canada. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the day-to-day excellence of our physical and virtual clinics, working closely with administrative support, clinic managers, practitioners, and our finance team. This is a foundational role — perfect for a builder who wants to shape the operational backbone of a fast-growing, purpose-driven health services company.Key Responsibilities

  • Clinic Oversight: Ensure smooth daily operations of physical and virtual clinic locations across Canada
  • People Management: Oversee and coordinate clinic administrators, local clinic managers, and support staff
  • Patient Flow: Ensure seamless scheduling, intake, booking, and follow-ups — both virtual and in-person
  • Practitioner Coordination: Manage communication, onboarding, scheduling, and payment for a multidisciplinary team (NPs, psychologists, therapists, etc.)
  • Technologyamp; Systems: Maintain and troubleshoot POS systems, EMRs, telehealth platforms, and clinic tech infrastructure
  • Client Service: Drive a patient-first culture with operational excellence and consistency across all touchpoints
  • Complianceamp; Standards: Ensure clinics meet healthcare regulatory standards and billing compliance for VAC, Medavie, and related agencies
  • Reportingamp; Metrics: Track KPIs across clinics, including patient satisfaction, staff efficiency, and financial performance
  • Scaling Support: Support the CEO/founders in planning and opening new locations, onboarding new disciplines (e.g., Physio, OT), and integrating services
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of operations leadership experience in healthcare, preferably in multidisciplinary clinics or allied health
  • Experience working with or knowledge of Canadian healthcare systems and third-party payers like Veterans Affairs Canada and Medavie
  • Proven track record managing distributed teams, multiple locations, and growing organizations
  • Strong systems orientation — experience with EMRs, POS systems, and healthcare booking/payment tools
  • Excellent communicator with high attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Builder mindset — comfortable creating structure, processes, and documentation from the ground up
  • Bonus: experience with virtual care, mental health services, or veterans’ health services
