If that wasn’t enough, our technology is backed by two decades of award-winning client service.About the Role:We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our team at Alexa Translations. The IT Manager will play a key role in overseeing our technology infrastructure and ensuring its security, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. Reporting to the VP of Technology, the IT Manager will lead a talented team of IT professionals and collaborate with other departments to support the company #39;s objectives.Responsibilities:

  • Technology Infrastructure Management:
    • Oversee the maintenance, optimization, and upgrade of the company #39;s technology infrastructure, including networks, servers, databases, and software systems.
    • Ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of IT systems to support the company #39;s operations.
  • Team Leadership and Management:
    • Lead and manage a team of IT professionals and a Support Team.
    • Set goals, assign projects, and provide guidance and support to team members.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Information Security Management:
    • Develop, implement, and maintain robust security measures to protect the company #39;s sensitive data, systems, and networks.
    • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate potential threats.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including SOCS2 and ISO270001.
    • Serve as a compliance officer to ensure adherence to industry regulations and standards.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Security incident management. Develop and implement security incident management policy and process.
  • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning:
    • Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the company can quickly recover from IT outages or disruptions.
  • Budgeting and Resource Allocation:
    • Assist with budgeting and allocating resources effectively to meet the company #39;s technology needs while ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Serve as a liaison between the IT department and other departments within the company.
    • Communicate with stakeholders to understand their technology requirements and priorities and ensure alignment with the company #39;s overall objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor #39;s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master #39;s degree preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT management, with a focus on information security and compliance. Experience in a B2B SaaS environment is preferred
  • Experience working with international remote teams.
  • Certifications in ITIL and CISSP would be an asset
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of IT professionals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex technical issues.
  • Experience with data privacy, internet technologies, threat and detection (e.g., malware, phishing), and other security issues
