Most importantly you will be part of an incredible team helping to get the world in Sync.Sync needs you!The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company #39;s operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to support decision-making at the executive level. The Senior Finance Manager manages a team of professionals and collaborates with various departments to ensure the organization #39;s financial health and stability.Your to-do list:

  1. Financial Reporting:
    • Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and relevant accounting standards.
    • Coordinate the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
  2. Budgetingamp; Forecasting:
    • Collaborate with the Vice President of Finance in facilitating the company #39;s annual budgeting process.
    • Conduct variance analyses to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  3. Financial Analysis:
    • Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
    • Present financial analysis and insights to the executive team to facilitate informed decision-making.
    • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess the company #39;s financial performance.
  4. Internal Controlsamp; Compliance:
    • Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
    • Liaise with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
    • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and coordinate tax planning strategies.
  5. Treasuryamp; Cash Management:
    • Manage the company #39;s cash flow, including cash projections and optimizing working capital.
    • Oversee banking relationships, credit facilities, and investment strategies.
  6. Team Leadershipamp; Development:
    • Manage and mentor the finance team, providing guidance, training, and professional development opportunities.
    • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment within the finance department.
  7. Processamp; System Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
    • Implement best practices in financial reporting and accounting procedures.
  8. Special Projects:
    • Participate in strategic initiatives and other special projects that impact the company’s financial operations.
Who you are:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation and Big 4 accounting experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working at an early- or growth-stage SaaS company is preferred.
  • Experience with cloud financial software; proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
  • Motivated, proactive team player with a strong work ethic; willingness to investigate and solve problems leveraging their professional judgement and experience.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset.
  • Several years of experience in progressively responsible financial roles.
