Job Description

Our consulting firm is looking for a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer with proven expertise in both AWS and Azure to help drive transformative projects for a diverse range of clients. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in automating processes, enhancing system reliability, and scaling infrastructures to meet the demands of enterprise-grade applications. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys client-facing engagements, and is passionate about leveraging cloud infrastructure to optimize business outcomes.Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for streamlined software development.
  • Manage and configure AWS and Azure cloud environments for performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and architects, to define infrastructure requirements and best practices.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
  • Monitor system health and implement proactive measures to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in collaboration with internal teams and clients.
  • Drive DevOps culture by advocating for automation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of DevOps experience, with hands-on expertise in both AWS and Azure.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
  • Strong understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to system maintenance and issue resolution.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in a consulting environment.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC2, GDPR).
  • Certification in AWS and/or Azure DevOps Engineer.
