Job DescriptionPosition : RQ07121 - Technology Architect – Senior(3 Openings)Location: 222 Jarvis Street,Toronto,Ontario(Hybrid)Duration:Long Term Contract Must haves:

  • 4+ yrs of exp with Oracle Cloud exp as a technology architect
  • Oracle Cloud experience
  • Azure and AWS exp is preferred
Experience and Skill Set RequirementsEvaluation Breakdown1. Cloud Knowledge and Experience - 40%Parameters:Demonstrated experience enabling and designing the Government of Ontario #39;s clouds primarily with Oracle some knowledge of Azure and AWS cloud technology would be useful. This experience would need be with Cloud environments that are of the same scale as the Government of Ontario Cloud or BPS environments.2. Communications and Customer Service - 15%Parameters:Demonstrated experience of working with customers/key stakeholders and using communication skills to resolve operational issues, negotiate or documentprocess related intelligence.3. Analysis and Problem-Solving - 15%Parameters:Demonstrated experience with troubleshooting and resolving Oracle Cloud environment incidents and working with vendor partners.DescriptionDeliverables: The Resources will act as a subject matter expert for standing up the OPS Oracle cloud project for the IFIS application:
  • Enabling and designing the Government of Ontario Oracle cloud but some experience with Azure, AWSwould be useful.
  • Designing and configuring advance security for Oracle cloud providers.
  • Assist with complex migration from on premise to the Oracle public cloud providers.
  • Assist in updating and creating provisioning pipelines the Government Cloud offerings by writing and maintain a provisioning code base for infrastructure delivery as well as data gatheringreporting
Responsibilities:These positions will:1. Support environment updates and delivery pipelines writing and maintaining this code. 2. Integrate and secure cloud services for applications. 3d map creation, service material, process refinement, communication plans.
