Job Description

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated Java Technical Lead.As a Java Technical Lead with BrainRidge Consulting, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance and scalable Java applications. This role requires hands-on development, as well as leadership responsibilities, including coordinating across teams and collaborating with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Java, Spring Boot, API development, microservices architecture, and OpenShift, with additional knowledge of AWS as a plus.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the design and implementation of Java-based applications, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Architect and maintain API-driven microservices solutions with OpenShift and Spring Boot.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with multiple teams, ensuring seamless integration across different services.
  • Work hands-on as a developer, leading by example in coding standards and best practices.
  • Implement database solutions that align with system architecture and business needs.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to align technical strategies and project objectives.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers while fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
RequirementsQualifications:
  • 12+ years of Java development experience, with a strong background in API and microservices architecture.
  • Expertise in Spring Boot and OpenShift for scalable and cloud-native application development.
  • Strong knowledge of databases and backend optimization strategies.
  • Experience working in leadership or technical lead roles, coordinating efforts across teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
  • Nice to have: Experience with AWS and cloud-based deployment strategies.
