Job Description

This is a remote position.Burai is on a mission to redefine how teams manage work, documents, and collaboration through powerful AI. They are a stealth-mode B2B SaaS company, backed by early customer engagement and a bold vision. Burai specializes in enhancing customer engagement and fostering innovation across various businesses.At its core, Burai offers a cloud-based SaaS Platform tailored for enterprises, including SMBs, navigating complex technical environments. Their groundbreaking Burai Document Lifecycle Management solution optimizes operations, boosts productivity, and facilitates seamless collaboration from inception to archiving. Integrated with Microsoft 365, this platform addresses critical business challenges, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.Named after the Croatian word for#39;the wind that comes off the sea #39;, Burai signifies momentum and clarity, embodying a vision to transform organizational workflows globally.As Burai’s first marketing hire, you’ll architect the marketing function from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to build the brand, define the voice, and lead demand generation efforts for a company that #39;s poised to disrupt enterprise collaboration and document lifecycle management. You’ll report directly to the CRO and work shoulder-to-shoulder with leadership to drive pipeline, market presence, and product adoption, setting the stage for long-term scale.

  • Reporting to CRO
  • Define and lead the global marketing function in line with Burai’s business objectives
  • Define and implement the marketing tech-stack, with a strong emphasis on automation and reporting capabilities
  • Stand up an elite, multi-disciplinary team as you scale that is focused on driving pipeline growth across all aspects of the customer lifecycle
  • Build and manage a product marketing team, focused on clearly articulating our value proposition, across a variety of industries and global markets
  • Foster a culture of cross-functional collaboration between sales, marketing, customer successamp; product to ensure marketing efforts evolve to incorporate user feedback
  • Own the entire marketing charter—from strategy to execution—across brand, demand gen, product marketing, and communications
  • Set up reporting infrastructure to surface insights that guide future campaigns and inform executive decisions
  • Own marketing P amp;L and budget
Requirements
  • 5+ years in a SaaS B2B leadership position (Director Level or higher)
  • Experience developing brand messaging in an emerging/new SaaS category
  • Experience in the implementation of successful marketing campaigns across all aspects of the customer lifecycle
  • Proven success in managing high-performing teams with direct ownership of multiple marketing functions
  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and project management skills are a must
  • A track record of success in early-stage or high-growth environments—you #39;re energized by the zero-to-one phase
  • Deep experience across the funnel: brand, product marketing, lifecycle campaigns, paid strategy, and everything in between
