Job Description

Mowing and Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader For our NEW DIVISIONCore Capabilities: Understand importance of arriving each shift presentable and professionalPerform work safelyAbility to Lead a team and to work as a part of the teamA Positive attitudeEngaged and willing to learnEthics and integrityJob Duties:

  • Assist in Loading and unloading tools required for the day and/or specific job
  • Be able to work with minimal to no supervision or direction.
  • Create weekly plan to ensure team is assigned client locations, and no client is missed
  • Work as part of the overall team – completing lawn care tasks.
  • Assist the Tree Care operation by picking up sticks/branches, and raking as needed.
  • Operate power equipment including, but not limited to,: lawn tractors, lawn mowers, power blowers, compact tractors, ATV’s, line trimmers, hedge trimmers, sod cutters, chain saws
  • Inspect all work for quality to ensure done complete and eliminate need to return or rework due to sub standard quality or client satisfaction issues
  • Assist with other job related duties including shop, yard and equipment maintenance
  • Maintain a standard of cleanliness and organization in assigned trucks, with assigned equipment, on jobsites, and at shop/yard areas
  • Ensure that all work activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner
  • Comply with all company policies and regulations
  • Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations
  • Communicate with Clients/customers in a polite and courteous manner
Requirements: *Ability to work both independently with little supervision, and as part of a team* Ability to operate Lawn care equipment (push mower, ride on mower, weed wackers, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, powered rakes)*Ability to walk, stand, crouch, and bend for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasks*Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment, and materials*Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment*Excellent stamina is required*Flexible working hours including occasional weekend work* Ability to flex work schedule around weather to change up work times/days in order to complete all customer assignments.Work Conditions:
  • Outdoors, every shift
  • Longer days during peak season
  • Early mornings, and occasional weekend
  • All weather conditions (extreme heat, rain, cold, etc)
Job Types: Full-time, SeasonalSalary: $18.00-$21.00 per hourBenefits:
