Your solid knowledge of the sector and interpersonal skills are great assets. You serve as an ambassador with the community, including the business community, and with various partners.In your role, you support Desjardins Group’s strategic directions and related actions by leading the Signature Service and developing its full market potential. You lead the implementation and execution of a business development plan for the full range of wealth management offerings in your territory. You call upon your people skills and strong knowledge of the various wealth management offerings, as you are responsible for directing members and clients to the right wealth management offering within your territory.You are responsible for member/client satisfaction and the member/client experience. You oversee performance, ensure sound and prudent risk management and compliance management in accordance with standards, and follow up on results. Your ability to drive vision, purpose and results allows you to effectively manage employees and performance.You manage a multidisciplinary team of specialists that work with mass-affluent and high-net-worth members and clients. You oversee employees’ skills development and ensure high service quality standards for Desjardins Signature Service. Your ability to build effective teams and develop talent are therefore be essential. You serve as a resource and coach for your team, providing advice and tailored recommendations to meet the diverse needs of members and clients.The complex work associated with your unit requires extensive, highly specific knowledge of the organization and your line of business.General Information on the PositionMain responsibilities

  • Ensure business development in your territory and actively contribute to the business development of the region and Desjardins Group overall.
  • Ensure optimal growth, performance and productivity, and help maintain Desjardins Group’s financial soundness.
  • Direct, guide and motivate employees, and foster their development and engagement.
  • Serve as a change leader and ensure team agility to benefit members and clients.
  • Be responsible for sound and prudent risk and compliance management.
  • Promote the Desjardins brand and strengthen the DSS office’s roots in its market.
  • Promote the cooperative values of Desjardins Group.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • A minimum of ten years of relevant experience, including a minimum of five years of management experience

  • Financial planning certificate - Autorité des marchés financiers
  • For vacant positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required
