We’re hiring solution-minded people excited to help us grow into the future. We are currently looking to fill 2 term Project Coordinator positions on our Regional Operations team. These are 9 months terms from the start date of the position.Accountabilities: The Project Coordinators will share the overall accountability for the successful implementation of the Safety Enhancement Audit and the Competency Based Management System (CMS) projects. This includes ensuring tracking information is correct for each employee; the correct training is assigned to each role; ensuring proper documentation is created, maintained, and archived; providing overall administrative support to the projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that all business processes are followed to support the successful completion of the projects. The ideal candidate will have initiative, an appreciation for confidentiality, a strong work ethic and a dedication to quality and safety. You will be required to perform at a high level of competency and independence.Specific accountabilities include:

  • Plans, assigns, coordinates, reviews and documents the work of the project team and stakeholders
  • Plans, assigns, coordinates meetings with support resources from the business
  • Assists in the development, implementation, and evaluation of Operating Procedures
  • Ensure alignment with corporate/regulatory compliance and governance
  • Adheres to organizational policies and procedures
  • Maintain a project SharePoint site to manage critical project documentation and workflow processes
  • Assist with the implementation of CMS
  • Import training records from Energy Source to CMS
  • Upload training records
  • Manage training record compliance
  • Troubleshoot CMS issues and address general queries
  • Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary
The Project Coordinator will ensure effective communication with key project stakeholders, assist in monitoring of project performance, and escalate risks and issues to the Project Manager to ensure appropriate action is taken.You will be responsible for your personal safety and that of your co-workers by observing all Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations.Skills, Capabilities and Experience: As the successful candidate, you have a College Diploma or University degree from an accredited post-secondary institute and/or a recognized project management certification or equivalent experience plus a minimum of 5 years experience in a relevant field.
  • Solid understanding of, and experience with project planning and document/records management.
  • Able to work on multiple projects at once while maintaining priorities
  • Excellent communication and strong organizational skills
  • Willingness and ability to learn new processes
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills as well as being attentive to detail
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Experience with Oracle, SharePoint or Project Management software considered an asset
