BookkeeperD&D Bookkeeping Inc. is currently searching for the right individual to join our bookkeeping team. We are looking for an experienced individual, offering full time hours and benefits.Bookkeeper Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance.
  • Develops system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; defining/adhering to bookkeeping policies and procedures.
  • Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
  • Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries.
  • Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries.
  • Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
  • Maintains historical records by filing documents.
  • Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
  • Complies with federal, provincial, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Work Hours & Benefits
  • Position entails Monday-Friday schedule, 8:30AM-5PM
  • Evenings & Weekend over time available at peek season
  • RRSP benefits after 1 year employment
  • Medical benefits after 3 months probation
  • Five sick/personal days per year

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
  • High School graduate
  • Diploma in accounting, finance, or related field preferred
  • Previous bookkeeping experience preferred
  • Experience in working with Sage 50 (Simply Accounting) & QuickBooks (Both desktop/online preferred)
Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $15.00-$20.00 per hourBenefits:
