The Nova Scotia Federation of Agriculture (NSFA) represents the interests of Nova Scotias agricultural community. Today its members account for well over 90% of all agricultural production in Nova Scotia and brings together farm businesses representing all aspects of primary agriculture in the province. The NSFA tackles policy issues that impact the competitive and sustainable nature of the industry and takes an active role in supporting registered farms through the delivery of programs and services. The NSFA support farm employers by providing tools, resources, best practices and training.The NSFA is currently seeking a Member Services Coordinator to join the Communications Team. The Member Services Coordinator is responsible for supporting and coordinating the member services delivered through the Nova Scotia Federation of Agriculture. The position is diverse in nature as it will support several programs and initiatives across the organization. The MSC requires strong organizational and communication skills.The MSC acts as the primary point of contact for members and visitors and acts as a navigator in accessing the required information. The MSC must have a keen understanding of the agriculture industry as they will be required to respond to individual farmer-member concerns and issues by providing information, consultation, potential solutions, and support to members. The MSC is responsible for office reception and ensuring a welcoming, organized, and professional environment for members and visitors.The support and coordination aspect of the position dictates that this person be a team player; a person with considerable initiative who is always looking for an opportunity to assist others; is open to new ideas; and is willing to go the extra mile to ensure that the NSFA achieves its goals and objectives while ensuring positive member relations.Quick Apply
