To hear more about us please visit our website https://www.itape.com/Position DescriptionTitle: WeaverPosition Purpose: Weavers maintain efficient operation of the looms in the weaving department by repairing tape breaks and conducting quality checks of fabric.Principle AccountabilitiesSome of the Principle Accountabilities for Weavers are as follows:

  • Maintain loom operations by repairing weft breaks and warp breaks and replacing empty tape packages on the looms
  • Remove the loose tape making the packages neat and double taping the packages to ensure they stay neat for efficient operation
  • Perform miscellaneous line duties such as cutting whip rolls, dusting the looms and sweeping the floors
  • Check quality of fabric by visually inspecting the fabric for defects
  • Other tasks as assigned.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Entry-level position.
  • Energetic and self-motivated individual.
  • Enjoys a physically demanding role.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment.
