Job Description

Reporting to the CFO the Controller is an integral part of the overall operation of PCCRI and functions in a dynamic and changing environment. The position is largely involved with financial reporting, financial processes, management and administrative support. The Controller’s mandate is to ensure seamless service at all times and to continually review the Business operations for increased efficiencies in multiple areas.You will: · Responsible for all accounting operations including A/R and contracts, A/P, GL· Oversee payroll· Responsible for the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances· Responsible for the preparation of regulatory reporting· Manage month-end and year-end close process· Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting· Manage and comply with local, provincial, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings· Assist in the development and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls· Prepare financial statements, analyses, and reports· Responsible for bank statement reconciliation· Prepare cash flow analysis· Conduct financial analysis and prepare special reports as directed by CFO· Strive to improve accuracy and timeliness of reporting processes· Be working with a caring, fun, ambitious and supportive team· The opportunity to support the community, our employees and learn and grow in your career· As mandated by the PHO all employees are required to have COVID-19 Vaccination· Must have clean criminal record / HUB checkAt a minimum, you have: Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, and problem-solving skills· Eager to join high-growth company and ready to take on significant responsibility· Able to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
