Job Description

Job descriptionOverview:We are seeking a skilled Clamp Forklift Operators to join our team in Delta BC. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our warehouse operations.Duties:

  • Operate a forklift to transport goods and materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Load and unload trucks using a clamp truck.
  • Inventory count using RF Scanners.
  • Stack and store merchandise in designated areas.
  • Perform inventory control activities such as counting and verifying stock.
  • Daily preventative maintenance on the forklift and clamp truck must be carried out in accordance with safety inspection regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid forklift operator certification.
  • Experience in inventory count with RF Scanners.
  • Proven 2-3 years experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution processes.
  • Basic math skills for inventory control purposes.
  • Mechanical knowledge to perform routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks as required.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with all employees.
