Your Opportunity:Come join our amazing Central Zone Rural Team as a LTC Unit Manager for Two Hills Health Center. The Manager will be responsible for providing leadership to an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing leading care to Albertans. Your leadership, direction and organization of this department will be in support of the vision, mission and business plan of AHS. You will be making key decisions and establishing and contributing to the achievements and goals of the Seniors Health portfolio. As the Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders, facilitating change management, promoting team development, teamwork and coordinating staffing and clinical work as identified by the Director.Description:The Manager is accountable for the delivery of high quality, accessible, sustainable, patient and family-focused care for their assigned rural site, program area(s) and staff complement. The Manager has direct accountability for their assigned site, the clinical operations employees working within their identified program area(s), and the corresponding programmatic requirements of the role. In conjunction with the Director, the Manager is accountable for setting and executing strategic and operational priorities for the site. This includes developing and implementing site-based plans. Additionally, the Manager is accountable for, in conjunction with their director, setting and executing strategic and operational priorities related to their staff complement, and programmatic assignment(s). This includes ensuring the effective deployment of resources, supporting change management, and fostering a culture of continuous quality improvement. The manager provides leadership through demonstrated consistency of practice, competence as a leader, as well as commitment to the team, and to the overall purpose and vision of the portfolio, and the organization. The Manager is accountable to AH for Accommodations standards, Continuing Care Health Services Standards, Accreditation and Public Health Standards.
