Job Description

Do you love making a difference for people on their biggest days Thrive on doing something a little different everyday Switch gears with ease Come Lead our Events Service team to provide exemplary start-to-finish customer service for weddings, corporate conferences and more.Our resort is host to many small to medium size weddings in the summer and off season. We’re also a popular spot for conferences throughout the year and many holiday parties starting from mid November. Overall, we are a year-round conference facility with a few waves of peak business levels.Here are some Benefits specific to the Events Assistant:

The Events Assistant position is best suited for people who typically thrive with the following character traits:
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Can handle stress (many things seem to always need to be done, often, all at the same time)
  • Really enjoy working in a team environment most of the time but you can also enjoy working on your own from time to time.
  • Can Lead a team of fun dedicated full time and casual part time workers.
  • Hands-on type of worker.
  • Loves to deal with people.
  • High energy and can sustain a steady pace.
  • Able to work a physical job which includes a lot of walking.
  • You love variety; no two days are ever alike it seems.
  • You can handle a no set schedule. Early mornings and some late nights are routine.
  • You are a doer and welcome challenges.
  • You prefer to always keep busy.
Qualifications
  • You have previous experience in the same or similar role.
  • You have worked in Banquets as a server and proven your skills and now you think you’re ready for the next step.
  • You have food and beverage service experience, and you are quite good at it, but working in a restaurant has not been really your thing, banquets could be the alternative that you have been looking (if the character traits listed above seem like a goof fit to you).
  • You have leadership abilities.
  • You have significant food and beverage service experience.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds.
