Job Description

Love being outdoors and nurturing the landscape Have the vision, strength, and stamina to oversee 8 acres on the oceanfront We are looking for a Groundskeeper to beautify the exterior of our resort property for this summer season and beyond.Position Responsibilities:

  • Watering, weeding, tending and maintaining plants, lawns and/or gardens
  • Planning and executing landscaping projects
  • Applying fertilizers and related garden care products
  • Assessing the health of plants and taking appropriate remedial action as necessary
  • Running and operating gas-powered equipment
  • Communicating with different types of people to understand how to help.
  • Cleaning, lubricating, protecting, and otherwise maintaining related tools and equipment.
  • Ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
  • Maintaining the hotel facility and related equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
This position requires:
  • A passion for landscaping!
  • Plant knowledge and identification ability
  • Previous landscape construction experience would be an asset
  • Handling heavy loads
  • Manual dexterity
  • Attention to detail
  • Standing for extended periods
  • Bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Working outside in all types of weather
