Job Description

Ready to lead a hard-working and happy Housekeeping team in their ongoing success at a premier oceanfront resort We’re looking for someone that is driven to make everything picture-perfect yet still has their feet on the ground. Someone that lives hospitality and will keep our housekeeping team one big happy family.You’ll find Black Rock Oceanfront resort amongst old growth Cedars and the rugged shoreline of Ucluelet in the traditional territory of the Nuu-chah-nulth people.You’ll join our highly-committed Management Team, which makes decisions based on mutual respect, integrity, inclusion, and growth.If this sounds like your next career move, read on!Position Responsibilities:

  • Set the Black Rock Resort’s housekeeping standards in a manner fitting of a premier west coast resort, in line with our goals of making a difference for our guest and conducting business sustainably.
  • Coach, mentor and support the Housekeeping Team to continue the outstanding morale, provide growth opportunities and inspire high-quality work.
  • Collaborate with the Management Team to build a seamless and impressive overall Guest experience.
Competencies Required:
  • 3+ years housekeeping experience in a leadership role
  • Knowledge of RDP would be an asset
  • Some formal Hospitality Industry education is an asset
  • Exceptional customer service sills and standards
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal, listening, and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, stay organized and thrive in a busy service environment
  • Flexible availability
  • Team-minded attitude
  • Able to Lift/Move up to 40 lbs
  • Cultural sensitivity and awareness
