Day in the life:As a procurement professional you embody the role of an expert in purchasing and inventory management, along with meticulous specifications and requirements. Your goal is to procure tools, materials, goods, and business services as you navigate through the realm of suppliers, diligently following up on pricing and order status.You will gather pricing information from vendors and process incoming requisitions, followed by issuing purchase orders to suppliers. Your go-to-tool, the inventory spreadsheet, aids you in replenishing stock and keeping orders on track.You will oversee inventory levels and forecast future orders, expertly utilizing systems and spreadsheets to meticulously track purchase orders and payments. You will be partnering with suppliers on a regular basis as you work together to produce accurate and timely quotations. In your domain, you meticulously review and prepare invoices for payment, ensuring precise alignment with the corresponding purchase order.This role demands not only sharp focus and attention to detail but also exceptional communication skills and the ability to maintain impeccable records.
