We design, manufacture, sell, and deliver our Prefabricated buildings all over the world from our office located in Markham, Ontario. We are currently looking for a successful and confident back-end WordPress Developer to join our exciting and growing Marketing Department.About Future Buildings:Future Buildings is a leading provider of pre-engineered steel buildings for residential, commercial, and industrial purposes. With a strong online presence and a commitment to innovation, we are dedicated to offering our customers high-quality, cost-effective building solutions. We are seeking a talented and motivated Full Stack WordPress Developer and SEO Specialist to join our dynamic team and help us grow our online presence.Position Overview: Future Buildings is seeking a results-driven WordPress Specialist (Full Stack Development) with advanced knowledge of website migrations, along with a deep understanding of SEO, conversion tracking and building out E-Commerce Stores. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing effective digital marketing strategies to drive online traffic, increase brand visibility, and ultimately boost conversion rates. As a WordPress Specialist at Future Buildings, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining WordPress websites, migrating sites to a new theme and collaborating with the marketing team to ensure that our online presence aligns with our brand identity and marketing goals.Responsibilities:

  • Word press Website Management:
  • Overhaul and enhance the overall design of the company website, ensuring a modern and visually appealing user interface.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing websites of similar complexity.
  • Strong knowledge of content management systems, website design software, programming languages.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand design requirements and create compelling visual elements.
  • Implement security best practices for WordPress websites.
  • Monitor and address security vulnerabilities, ensuring the integrity of websites.
  • Landing Page Creation:
  • Develop multiple landing pages with a focus on user-friendliness and conversion optimization.
  • Implement responsive design techniques to ensure a seamless experience across various devices.
  • Tracking Implementation:
  • Embed robust tracking mechanisms on website to capture user interactions and behaviour.
  • Utilize Google Tag Manager to implement and manage tracking tags for accurate data collection.
  • HTML, CSS, and PHP Expertise:
  • Leverage in-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, and PHP to implement design changes and optimize website performance.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness in all design implementations.
  • Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):
  • Analyze user data and behaviour to identify opportunities for improving conversion rates on website.
  • Implement A/B testing and other CRO strategies to enhance overall campaign effectiveness.
  • SEO Optimization:
  • Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic and paid search rankings.
  • Conduct keyword research, on-page optimization, and backlink analysis.
  • Monitor and report on website performance using SEO tools.
  • Google Tag Manager and Conversion Tracking:
  • Implement and manage Google Tag Manager for streamlined tracking and analytics.
  • Set up conversion tracking for various goals, such as form submissions and lead generation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve tracking issues as they arise.
  • Building an E-Commerce Page on the Future Buildings Website
  • Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in WordPress development, with proficiency in PHP, CSS, and HTML.
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices and experience implementing SEO strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act on data from Google Analytics.
  • Expertise in setting up and managing tracking tools, including Google Tag Manager.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing and maintaining website security measures.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Additional Skills (Optional):
  • Familiarity with other content management systems (CMS).
This is a full time 6 month contract with the possibility of an extension at the end. This is an IN OFFICE opportunity and the salary offered will commensurate with your acquired experience and skill set.
