Job Description

On behalf of our client, Ignite Technical Resources is seeking an Intermediate Project Manager to join our client #39;s team on a full-time permanent basis. The position can be based in British Columbia or Ontario with the majority of work done remotely and some occasional travel.Role: The Project Manager will report to the Director of PMO and will work on SaaS implementations, collaborating with business, operations, technology, digital team members, and others across the organization to deliver successful project outcomes. The role will have accountability for managing projects that ensure alignment with business strategy, support business growth, and deliver user satisfaction across audiences.Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive project plans, prioritizing initiatives that deliver value to our clients and support business objectives.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of SaaS implementation projects, focusing on optimizing user experience and achieving operational excellence.
  • Act as a champion for project management best practices, leveraging insights to drive project decisions and ensure that solutions meet the high expectations of our clients.
  • Foster an environment of continuous improvement, encouraging the adoption of agile methodologies and a culture of experimentation and innovation.
  • Assess value and prioritize project tasks to ensure work focuses on maximum value and alignment with project strategy.
  • Inform and influence stakeholders of the initiative #39;s progress and solution status, effectively sharing the project vision and complex situations.
Mandatory Requirements:
  • 3+ years’ experience within the financial services industry.
  • A mix of waterfall and agile project management experience
  • 5+ years #39; experience as a Project Manager.
  • Previous SaaS implementation experience.
  • Experience managing 3rd party vendors.
  • Proven ability to work closely with development teams; some technical background would be a huge asset.
  • Excellent ability to write project requirements and documentation.
  • Demonstrated experience working with C-level executives and clients.
Nice-to-Have Requirements:
  • Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)
  • Knowledge of SaaS platforms and tools is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Dataphile is an asset
