Job Description

Experience: 3-5 years in inventory-focused positionEducation: Minimum high school diploma; post-secondary degree (i.e. college, university) preferredHours: Monday to Friday, day time, full time.As an Inventory Coordinator, you will be responsible for keeping track of furniture going in and out of its warehouse(s). Being able to engage in physical labour where required, such as lifting and racking of furniture for placement, will also be important. Key Responsibilities

  • Balancing of the current inventory levels of our 3PLs and determining the replenishment necessary to maintain optimal stock for fulfillment.
  • Determining where to allocate shipments based on the current inventory levels and optimize warehouse inventory for the fulfillment of orders.
  • Conducting ongoing inventory cycle counts to maintain the accuracy of inventory levels and determine any discrepancies.
  • Identify any potential risks to the overall product supply chain and develop contingency plans. Initiateamp; lead supply prioritization/de-risk discussions during capacity constrained periods.
  • Proactively develop and maintain productive supplier relationships, negotiate favorable contract terms with key suppliers and look for opportunities to reduce cost without compromising on quality.
  • Maintain and manage inventory of products and stocked products, which include stock locations and profiles.
  • Complete inventory transactions to receive, assign location and issue inventory as required.
  • Provide regular management data on inventory performance; Record data into ERP system accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate SOPs and ensured GMP compliance standards are consistently met.
  • Create and maintain accurate inventory control functions and processes, ensuring accuracy and integrity of the stock management system implemented.
  • Implement improvement systems and processes to reduce inventory setbacks, while minimizing costs and maximizing working capital.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Achieve target quota and any other operation related responsibilities may be added as the company continues to grow.
  • Provide input on best practices, policies and procedures with respect to the others
