Job Description

On behalf of our client, Ignite Technical Resources is seeking an Intermediate Product Manager to join our client #39;s team on a full-time permanent basis. The position can be based in British Columbia or Ontario with the majority of work done remotely and some occasional travel.Role: The Product Manager will collaborate with business, operations, technology, digital team members, and others across the organization to develop product roadmaps for the client’ platforms and tools. The role will have accountability for transforming client’ platforms to ensure they align with business strategy, support business growth, and deliver user satisfaction across the audiences.Responsibilities:• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive product roadmaps, prioritizinginitiatives that deliver value to our clients and support business objectives.• Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative product features and enhancements, focusing on optimizing user experience and achieving operational excellence.• Act as a champion for user research, leveraging insights to drive product decisions and ensure that solutions meet the high expectations of our clients.• Foster an environment of continuous improvement, encouraging the adoption of agile methodologies and a culture of experimentation and innovation.• Perform discovery on topics to gather information for requirements and begin for further analysis efforts.• Assess value and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on maximum value and alignment with product strategy.• Provide backlog management and prioritization, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories• Ensure the development team understands items in the backlog and get clarity on ambiguous items with the intent to share with the development team as necessary.• Prioritize activities according to user needs while taking into consideration IT constraints, relationship with external partners.• Continuously make improvements and fixes to the product to enhance the customer experience.• Inform and influence stakeholders of the initiative #39;s progress and solution status, effectively sharing the product vision and complex situations.Mandatory Requirements: • 3+ years’ experience within the Investment Industry• Extensive experience in a fast moving/agile environment continually improving multiple products• 5+ years #39; experience as a Product Owner/Product Manager• Proven ability to work closely with development teams, some technical background would be a huge asset• Excellent ability to write user stories• Experienced with prioritization methods (e.g. Value vs Effort, RICE)• Strong communication, presentation and leadership skills• Demonstrated experience working with C-level executives and clientsNice-to-Have Requirements: • Product Owner / Manager Certification (e.g., Certified Scrum Master or Certified Scrum Product Owner)• Knowledge of Dataphile is an assetIf you meet the required criteria and are interested in the above position, please submit a WORD version of your resume.
